

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s new trailer was released with several further details about the games. The latest normal-type Pokemon, “Lechonk”, which looks like a pig, is included.
The 3-minute video trailer showed new video game footage revealing the new professors (Professor Sada and Professor Turo), the 4-player co-op mode, and sneak peeks of what to expect from the games.
Besides Lechonk, several new Pokemon were also debuted, such as Pawmi, Smoliv, and the Legendary Mascots Koraidon and Miraodon.
According to the official Pokémon Facebook page, “it [Lechonk] may appear fat at first glance, but in reality, the Pokémon’s body is mostly muscle built by constantly walking around in search of food.”
Based on the official Pokémon Scarlet and Violet website, Lechonk is described as a gourmand with an excellent nose. The cute Pokemon is also timid and fainthearted but is also strong.

This Pokémon resembles a pig. Lechon is a delectable suckling pig that is popular in the Philippines, Cuba, Spain, Portugal, and other Spanish-speaking countries.
When it comes to gameplay, the open worlds of Scarlet and Violet will include both urban and wilderness areas with no dividing lines between them.
Developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company, The Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are slated for release on November 18, 2022, on the Nintendo Switch platform.
For those unaware, Pokémon is a 1996 role-playing video game series that incorporates gameplay elements such as “collecting,” wherein the player (or known in-game as a trainer) catches and raises Pokémon, and “communication,” in which the player trades and battles with buddies. It also released its first anime series in 1997 in Japan. On the other hand, the anime initially aired in the Philippines in 1999 through the free-to-air TV network GMA 7.
